## How to Report an IP Dispute

### Notice Channel

Submit a notice to:

* **Email:** [ip@novastore.app](mailto:ip@novastore.app)
* **Web form:** \[Add URL when available]

### Required Information

To process your notice, include:

* **Your identity** — Name, contact information, and relationship to the rights holder
* **Description of the IP** — What work or mark is infringed (e.g., trademark registration, copyrighted work)
* **Description of the infringement** — Which app(s) or content infringe, and how
* **Good faith statement** — That the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder
* **Signature** — Physical or electronic signature

***

## Our Response Process

1. **Acknowledgement** — We acknowledge receipt of the notice (typically within 48 hours).
2. **Review** — We review the notice and the referenced app/content.
3. **Action** — If we determine the content infringes, we remove or disable access expeditiously.
4. **Developer notice** — We notify the developer and may provide an opportunity to submit a counter-notice where appropriate under applicable law (e.g., DMCA).
5. **Follow-up** — We may contact you for additional information if needed.

***

## Expedicious Removal

Upon becoming aware that content infringes the intellectual property of Apple or others, we remove or disable access promptly. We do not require a court order to act when infringement is clear.

***

## Repeat Infringer Policy

Developers who frequently provide infringing content are subject to:

1. **Prior warning** — We issue a warning after the first substantiated infringement.
2. **Removal of infringing content** — Each infringing app is removed.
3. **Developer removal** — If a developer repeatedly provides infringing content after a warning, we remove them from distributing apps on Nova Store.

"Frequently" is assessed based on the number of valid notices, pattern of conduct, and severity.

## Counter-Notice (DMCA and Similar)

Where applicable (e.g., copyright under DMCA), developers may submit a counter-notice asserting that content was removed in error. We will process counter-notices in accordance with applicable law. The original complainant may pursue legal action; we may restore content if required by law.
