Developer Terms for Nova Store
These terms apply to any app distributed through Nova Store. Developers must accept these terms and ensure their apps meet the requirements below before distribution.Nova Store is not affiliated with Nova Wallet or Nova Shield.
Content Policies
Acceptable Content
Apps distributed through Nova Store must:- Comply with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where they are available
- Not contain misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
- Respect user privacy and data protection laws
- Provide accurate metadata (name, description, screenshots) that reflects the app’s functionality
Prohibited Content
The following content is not permitted:- Illegal content — Content that violates laws in any jurisdiction where the app is distributed
- Harmful content — Malware, spyware, or code designed to harm devices or users
- Fraudulent content — Apps designed to defraud, phish, or deceive users
- Infringing content — Content that infringes intellectual property rights of others
- Harmful to minors — Content that exploits or harms minors
- Hate speech or violence — Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination
- Spam or deceptive practices — Apps that mislead users about their purpose or functionality
Business Model Terms
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
- Developers may monetize apps through in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other models, provided they comply with applicable consumer protection laws
- Pricing and terms must be clearly disclosed to users
- Refund and cancellation policies must comply with applicable law (e.g., EU Consumer Rights Directive)
Advertising
- If an app displays advertising, it must comply with applicable advertising standards and privacy requirements
- Ads must not be deceptive, misleading, or harmful
Acceptance Criteria
Apps are accepted for distribution only if they:- Meet the content policies above
- Do not contain prohibited content
- Comply with business model terms where applicable
- Pass our pre-distribution review (including security and IP checks)
- Include accurate and complete metadata
