Nova Store handles governmental and other requests to take down apps from our marketplace when they are illegal, infringe intellectual property rights, or violate our terms for apps.Nova Store is not affiliated with Nova Wallet or Nova Shield.
Request Channel
Who May Submit
- Governmental authorities (law enforcement, regulators, courts)
- Rights holders (IP infringement)
- Other parties with a legitimate legal basis for a takedown request
How to Submit
- Email: removals@novastore.app
- Legal/formal requests: Include official letterhead, case or reference number, and contact information where applicable
Grounds for Removal
We evaluate removal requests based on:| Ground | Description |

| Illegality | The app violates applicable law in the jurisdiction(s) where the request has effect |
| IP infringement | The app infringes the intellectual property rights of Apple or others |
| Terms violation | The app violates Nova Store’s terms for apps (content policies, developer terms) |
Our Process
- Receipt — We acknowledge receipt and log the request.
- Review — We evaluate the request for:
- Validity and legitimacy
- Legal basis (court order, statute, regulation)
- Scope (which app(s), which region(s) if applicable)
- Action — Where the request is valid and we determine removal is appropriate:
- We remove or disable the app
- We notify the developer where practicable
- We document the action for compliance purposes
- Appeal — Developers may contact us to contest a removal; we will consider appeals in accordance with applicable law and our policies.
Geographic Scope
We comply with removal requests to the extent required by applicable law. A request from one jurisdiction may result in removal globally or only in that jurisdiction, depending on the legal basis and our assessment.Transparency
We do not publish individual removal decisions. We may provide aggregate or anonymized statistics where appropriate and legally permitted. Rights holders and authorities may contact us for status updates on specific requests.Contact
